The basics

Is this real money?

No. Your challenge balance is simulated, and so is the funded account. You never deposit trading money and you can't lose more than the challenge fee. Prices and fills are real: they come from Kalshi and Polymarket's live order books.

Do I need a Kalshi or Polymarket account?

No. We read their public prices; you trade inside Funded Hunch.

What does the trial cost?

The $10K trial is free. Paid challenges ($5K to $50K) open after launch.

Who can join?

You must be 18 or older. We'll publish the list of countries where challenges are available before launch.

Can I run more than one challenge?

One active trial at a time. After it ends you can start another.

Trading

Which markets can I trade?

Kalshi and Polymarket markets that resolve between 24 hours and 45 days from now, at entry prices between 20¢ and 80¢.

How are my positions valued?

At the live price you could sell for right now, after the venue's fee. That value is what the drawdown and daily limits watch.

What if a market's price stops updating?

Your account freezes instead of breaching on an old price. Nothing new opens until prices are fresh again, and no rule is judged on stale data.

Can I hold a position until the market resolves?

Yes. When the market settles you're paid $1 per winning contract, like on the venue. To pass, every position must be closed or settled.

When does the trading day reset?

At midnight UTC. The daily loss limit is measured from each day's opening balance.

Funded accounts & payouts

What happens when I pass?

You get a funded account of the same size with the same risk rules, and keep 80% of the profit you make on it (90% with the add-on).

How often can I get paid?

Every 14 days, once you've traded on at least 5 days since your last payout and closed every position. Each payout is capped at 10% of the account, $25,000 in total.

Where does the money come from?

Payouts are paid from challenge fees. No real capital is traded on your behalf.

How are payouts sent?

After an identity check (KYC) before your first payout. We'll confirm the payout methods before paid challenges open.
