Plain rules. No surprises.
The engine checks every rule live, the same way for everyone. Examples below are for a $10K challenge; every limit scales with the size you pick.
To pass
Profit target
Reach 10% above the starting balance within 30 days.
Trading days
Trade on at least 5 different days. A day counts when you buy at least 0.5% of the starting balance in one order, fees included ($50 on $10K).
Different markets
Buy in at least 5 different markets, each with an order of at least that same 0.5% minimum.
Finish flat
Every position closed (or settled) at the moment you pass.
Profit spread out
No single market may make up more than 40% of your profit.
Risk limits
Drawdown floor
Your balance, with open positions valued at live prices, must never fall below 90% of the start. It never moves up or down.
Daily loss limit
You can lose at most 5% of the starting balance in a day, measured from that day's opening balance (UTC).
Stale prices
If a market's live price stops updating, the account freezes instead of breaching on old numbers. Nothing new opens until prices are fresh again.
Example: you start the day at $10,400. Your daily floor is $9,900 that day ($10,400 − $500), above the $9,000 drawdown floor, so the daily limit is the one that bites.
What you can trade
Entry prices
New positions only between 20¢ and 80¢. Long shots and near-certainties are off the table.
One market
At most 5% of the starting balance in one market, counting what you paid for everything you hold there.
One event
At most 15% of the starting balance across markets of the same event (for example, every outcome of one election).
Resolution window
Markets that resolve between 24 hours and 45 days from now.
Close cutoff
No trading in the last 15 minutes before a market closes.
Fees
Each venue's own fee, worked out exactly as the venue does, on every fill.
What ends a challenge
Drawdown or daily limit hit
The challenge ends the moment a limit is crossed. You can start again with a reset.
30 days are up
Without the target, the challenge expires. Open positions are valued at their live sale price.
